This poster series was made to illustrate the fact that dinosaurs were the ancestors of birds.
The first poster that I designed represents the huge timeline and evolutionary tree that theropod dinosaurs took to become modern day birds. The three skulls used illustrate the middle of the evolutionary change in which it became hard to distinguish the exact moment in which dinosaurs became birds.
The second poster uses footprints to illustrate the extinction of most dinosaur species, it then depicts the surviving path taken by smaller theropods that eventually evolved into birds. The third poster was created after tutor led feedback and encompasses both poster ideas using striking dinosaur illustrations and their journey through time to the present day.
