Paper Worlds was a live brief. I created a design that would feature on a full double page front and back cover for a children's fictional story anthology.

The brief asked for a cover that was vibrant to look and something that would not only inspire children but adults as well. I wanted my cover to have the element of paper within the design but I decided to focus more on the theme of imagining a world. I firstly used the idea of using your imagination to visualise a world internally before moving on to look at the theme of imagining different worlds in the spaces around you. 

 

The final design was created using mixed media such as acrylic painting and digital drawings that were merged together to create the correct vibrancy and detail. The final design represents the beauty in the world around us and also the different layers that each person experiences.
